High-performance Ethernet switching has become ubiquitous and essential in today’s defense or industrial systems. Ethernet technology is fundamental for intra- and inter-system communication: it interconnects the building blocks of a system via centralized backplanes and allows different systems to communicate with one another. Interface Concept has developed a complete range of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Ethernet switches and routers specifically designed for operation in rugged and high-demanding environments. Our innovative Ethernet switch and router solutions provide 1/10/40G copper or optical Ethernet interfaces, are compliant with the latest standards (SOSA™, VITA, PICMG) and with the 3U and 6U VPX, VME and cPCI form-factors. Our switches are managed by a field-proven management Application called Switchware which provides comprehensive Layer 2 and Layer 3 configuration.
