pLinesES4-8 photo - Data Network Gateway

The pLinesES4-8 is a very high-performance COTS communication computer solution with large opening functionalities. It can be used in many networks or embedded communication applications such as Front end processor, low-cost embedded computer with communication capabilities or communication gateways.

The pLinesES4-8 is powered by one or two MPC8270 processors, being part of the PowerQUICCII processor family. This embedded processor couples a 603e core with a RISC communication processor and three Fast Ethernet controllers. This processor also provides a FPU unit with double precision capability. The low power design makes the system integration easier.
